Registration:
Athletes/coaches: Please register for your event at the registration table. There you will receive your bib number and pins. Coaches, there will be envelopes containing all of the bib numbers of your club’s athletes.
Volunteers: Please see the hospitality desk for sign-in. When you sign-in you will receive a lunch ticket and a volunteer T-shirt. You will also be automatically entered in a draw prize to win a pair of Saucony shoes (you will be emailed if you win)! You will then be directed to your position.
Check-in Procedure:
Look for the track/field marshal with a clipboard standing at the starting location of your event.
All track events: Check-in at race start line 10 minutes prior to start time.
All field events: Check-in at field events 30 minutes prior to start time.
Combined events: Check-in 20 minutes prior to the first event of the day, move with the group.
6mm Christmas tree or cones ONLY.
Awards:
Medals will be given for the top 3 in each scoring event and provincial combined event championships. They can be picked up at the awards table roughly 15 minutes after an event ends.
There will only be medal ceremonies for provincial combined events and sponsored events. Please proceed to the awards area if you placed in the top three in these events for a medal ceremony following the termination of your event.
At 12:30pm on Sunday we will honor the life of Mariano Ezeta by presenting an award to the top sprinter of the meet. Thank you to the Ezeta family for allowing us to share in this dedication. We invite you to be present and show your remembrance.
At the meet conclusion on Sunday the TEAM CHALLENGE AWARD will be presented to each scoring member of the best team in three categories:
- Open
- U18/U16
- U14/U12/U10
Facilities:
There will be open washrooms on site. Please be respectful of the personal space of others, especially indoors, and feel free to wear a mask if wanted.
One of our goals for the meet is to reduce our environmental impact. Please help us in doing so by disposing of waste in the correct bin (i.e.. garbage vs. recycling). We also ask that you bring a reusable water bottle to the meet instead of buying plastic (there is a water fountain). Let’s all work together to improve the sustainability of our sport! Medical:
There will be an athletic therapist, Melissa, on site for any injuries/concerns. We are also very fortunate to have a registered massage therapist Simon-Daniel Jolicoeur on board. Both will be at the medical tent if you feel you need assistance.
