The UCAC board has two open volunteer positions that are looking to be filled as soon as possible.
- Treasurer- Ensuring the club meets their budget obligations, the Treasurer is responsible for presenting the board with the current financials of the club to aid in decision making. Estimated effort: 2-3 hrs./month (less once we are out of COVID-19). 2 year term.
- Volunteer Coordinator- Manages the club’s volunteers for the Calgary Spring Challenge and other fundraising event. Also, organizing UCAC volunteers for Calgary Track Council hosted events. Estimated effort 1-2 hrs./month.
The UCAC board meets once every 2 months to make decisions on coaching/facilities/fees etc. If you are looking to make an impact in the club but don’t feel qualified or aren’t interested in the positions above, there are Director at Large positions open where your input will be heard and you can partake in the voting process.
